You captured it, Isabella, and I'm glad you mentioned embracing failure. I believe creativity is the most vital and uplifting force in the world today, and is sorely needed. One limiting factor is fear -- I observe a high degree of trepidation over the lack of guarantees in creativity, and the unwillingness to expose individual nuances that come out when you're being creative. I recall leaving an active and productive brainstorming session and seeing a morose group consoling one another near the elevators. One of the group was on the phone. 'It was terrible,' he was saying. 'A bloodbath. All those rejected ideas! We must have looked like incompetents and worse. I don't know how we recover.' Leaders need to instill in people a sense of adventure and that the noble failure is an incomparable teaching tool.
