"The Graduate" is a truly iconic representation of the era, with classic lines like 'Plastics' and the whole conversation about art between Ben and Mrs. Robinson. Mike Nichols, Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft gave us something timeless and very special, and it's sad that we didn't get the message - much of this superficial societal pressure still goes on, looking very much like the norms we supposedly resisted 60 years ago. We could easily have a man in a suit pontificating "I have one word for you: AI. There's a real future in AI. Do you hear me Ben?" And Ben would say: "I think AI is two words, Mr. Jones."
