I can't imagine being the third party to two brutal, centuries-in-the-making wars at the same time -- Gaza and Ukraine -- but here we are. I was an Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force on a base with fighter planes, and I know what the sound of those engines did to my equilibrium. You're feeling it, I'm sure. Those men are either sick or delusional, maybe both in some cases.

To add to the ugly scenarios, I remain concerned for the mass deportation. We can get hit from many sides. This is not the world I thought we were building when we were protesting against the Vietnam War. This is the world we didn't want, run by men from the same generation who didn't get the message.
