Is she filled with clichés in the science/religion and left wing/right wing battles? But most of all, thanks for your enthusiasm and to name something as a classic because it did that for you. Too many reviewers can't quite give themselves over to greatness, but you embrace it. Having read Tracks and Love Medicine, I know Louise Erdich is a gifted literary artist and you have reminded me there's more to read.
