Ray, I know this has been out there for a few years but I just came across it. There are some original ideas in here which I always appreciate. The idea that "telling" has a place in good writing is almost a courageous stance given the usual mantra we tell writers. Great choice of The Godfather for an analysis of characters. Best casting in film history.
