Pete Ross, you’ve restored my faith in people who stand up to the corporate or bureaucratic insanity and can think independently, and have enough humanity to be ENRAGED by the idiocy, self-promotion and even cruelty that exists in that world. I’m not so much down on LinkedIn as all the ugliness it uncovers: pervasive groupthink, shallow summaries of self-help concepts (which are shallow already) and the perfunctory treatment of toxic workplace culture and power-hungry, under-qualified leaders. They need your rage when faced with the world you describe. Your biting wit excoriates the pompous and the ladder climbers and sycophants, and is fully the right tone to take with this subject. You’d be a great co-worker!
