Lori, there are some real gems in here and I'm happy to say I try to live by many of them, but I had never heard "What somebody thinks of you is none of your business" -- a new take on an old idea for me. I also have an "advice" piece with some remarkably similar sentiments. I love how you go against expectations by advising we should act on our adrenaline rushes - normally the advice is to calm down and deal with it when we're more "rational." But by that time the pretty girl may be gone or the moment you cared about will have passed. And the noble failure is one of life's most underrated accomplishents. I've accomplished it may times!
