THINGS NO LONGER TRUE
I have had similar thoughts that I grouped under the heading, "Things No Longer True." The number of people I encounter who are operating from an obsolete platform would astound me if I wasn't aware of how easily old paradigms slip into my head even after I thought I'd moved beyond them. Even when you uproot every weed in your garden, the work is not done.
Fearlessness, fortitude, focus and finesse are needed to move authentically through the world - finesse is important because there's nothing to be gained by telling people they're carrying too much baggage to move forward; the message has to come through some other way. Christine's insight "the more I step back, the more things move forward" is the type of wisdom that comes from personal discovery, not a lesson on "making progress." And we want to see everyone progress, out of general well-wishes to all, but also because the lessons that haven't been unlearned yet may be serious impediments to the progress of others; that's why leaders must be highly self-aware and evolved, as their actions affect many. A great topic worthy of further exploration.
