You didn't mention boxing, and I have been writing various pieces on boxing for a while, so please check me out @donnkharris in a section called "Thinking Man's Brutality." The pieces there are way too long and are meant to be part of a book I am putting together, but I can deliver tight and engaging content about the psychology of boxing. I'm also an avid stat freak and can go toe-to-toe with a baseball statistician on some of their crazy "advanced stats" that seem to have little value -- all in good fun, of course.
